Our mission is to preserve and enhance the integrity of Fort Bayard National Historic Landmark, New Mexico, by utilizing the buildings and natural resources to their fullest potential by providing an environment for living, working, education, treating and healing.

Members will design and develop a national healing center for veterans at Fort Bayard National Historic Landmark, New Mexico.
Our Goal
Operation Fort Bayard is in the process of joining with other groups, including the Fort Bayard Historic Preservation Society, in forming a non-profit 501c3 organization, Fort Bayard Restoration and Development Coalition, to continue the work of preserving the precious history of Fort Bayard in Grant County, New Mexico.
